Marzotto - Fabric traceability in the production process
RFID tags are used to track the processing status of the fabric pieces once they leave the loom. Thanks to the passive and wireless reading feature of the RFID technology, it has been possible to fulfill the customer’s needs: detecting the position and processing status of each piece of fabric (which go through several steps in special and different machines), monitoring the processing consistency, piece identification for storage and picking operations in and out of the warehouse.
